Cottonwood At Rancho San Diego is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in El Cajon, California, about 20 minutes from downrown San Diego. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, they are: The Ivanhoe Course and The Lakes Course.
The course first opened for play in 1953. The course was designed by A. C. Sears and Q.W. Mooeman.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,764 yards, 72.6 / 126
White tees: par-72, 6,445 yards, 70.5 / 116 (M), 76.6 / 128 (W)
Red tees: par-72, 5,686 yards, 72.4 / 121

I would be surprised if this is still in business a year from now. They have resorted to mining sand on the Ivanhoe course to make money. Nothing like a big sand mining operation in the middle of a golf course to make for a memorable round. They really need to close the Lakes course and divert the money spent on maintenance to the Ivanhoe course. Better to have one good course than two lousy courses.
